Looking Forward to Spring

sdwarners

Onions are the first crop we seed in the spring (or mid-winter, actually). They're coming along nicely. We'll probably give them a haircut soon to make them more manageable. Onions are pretty tolerant of cold weather, so we'll be able to put them in the field sooner than most other crops.

Our container pepper plants are also starting to sprout.

Not everything is going as planned. I dropped a grow light on one of my experimental peppers and accidentally topped it. The ones behind it are the size it was before. So now I guess we'll see how it does as a topped pepper.

We've also got the container tomatoes and the bedding peppers in the soil. They should be coming up soon.

And a few of the herbs that take longer to mature are up now.

Hopefully these plants will do well and be ready to up pot in a few weeks.
